Original Floyd Rose Tremolo Bridge

This is the one - the Original Floyd Rose double locking tremolo system, famous for its unrivaled tuning stability and superior construction. The strings lock at both the bridge and at the nut (sold separately), allowing subtle or aggressive tremolo use, always with the confidence you’ll come back to perfect tune. The bridge features the original Floyd Rose locking saddle design for zero string-slippage, and fine-tuners for easy tuning adjustments once the nut is locked. This superb system also features hardened steel construction throughout, for years of reliable service. Trembuckers and F-Spaced humbuckers are not required, per se, though many players do choose to use them.

As of 2025, Original Floyd Rose manufacturing has moved from Germany to the USA.

• Some existing inventory may be from Germany (particularly lefty and 7-string units).
• The newer CNC-machined saddles have a fixed 12" radius (formerly 10" or 14" using shims).

• There are many bridges made under Floyd Rose patents. Unfortunately, their physical dimensions are not uniform. On our bodies, we only offer routing for the Original Floyd Rose tremolo and for the Schaller Floyd Rose tremolo, both of which we sell. If you are buying a new Warmoth body and are either buying a bridge on the same order or can provide us with the studs and inserts, we can install the inserts in the body for a small fee. (Must be the correct size for our mounting holes).
